ALEXA PELLEGRINI: “Find Yourself: Mantras for Self-Discovery, Freedom and Joy”

Header-32-700x325

Our world is constantly evolving and constantly demanding that we, as a society and as individuals, evolve with it. Finding love and living an authentic lifestyle have become secondary to achieving professional success and financial security. Many of us become so immersed in our daily routines that over time, we lose touch with ourselves and our dreams.

In order to heal, we must understand that drive, ambition and materialism can only take us so far before we suffer under the weight of emptiness, regardless of how successful we are by society’s standards.  Even after achieving our goals, we may feel unsatisfied and continue to crave validation or material comforts to quiet an inner lack of self-acceptance and love. Where, then, can happiness be found?

As you embark on the soul’s journey to enlightenment, you will discover the greatest success you can attain is connecting with your higher self and integrating love into your life. ‘Happiness’ is not derived from the material, nor is it attainable only to a select few. Finding happiness is simple: when we release our obsessions over attaining the ‘perfect’ success and material security, we free our hearts and move closer to experiencing an authentic, joyful existence.

Why Recite Mantras? Mantras Guide Us to Love

By accessing the power of speech through mantras, you can re-frame your thinking to purify negativity with love. Mantras are simple yet powerful phrases that are continuously recited in order to provide a healing, stabilizing effect on the mind. The repetitious quality of mantras yield the potential to open doors to achieving love, happiness and meaningful accomplishments.

Anxiety, perfectionism, guilt and pessimism are common roadblocks to finding freedom from the ‘rat race’. The following mantras offers solutions to overcoming these barriers. Ideally, sit in a serene space and repeat each desired mantra at your preferred pace. Slow pacing will calm the heart and reduce anxiety. Fast pacing will provide an intense, regenerative effect that will increase your pulse and breathing; be aware of your energy levels during fast recitation.

Reciting mantras allows for self-acceptance and inner peace

1. Everything ends.

When you are overwhelmed by anxiety or believe you are ‘stuck’ in a situation, you must remember that everything ends. Life is composed of cycles; every negative cycle must occur for a positive cycle to begin. Even our most frustrating, terrible cycles will come to an end. A difficult situation is not a permanent barrier to any kind of happiness.

2: I am enough.

Perfectionism is a major roadblock to incorporating love and happiness into your life. Take a moment each day to remind yourself that you are enough. Who has told you that you are ‘not good enough’? Will punishing yourself bring love and prosperity? As you recite this mantra, look at yourself in the mirror–be your own best supporter. This mantra should be repeated to counteract negative self-talk.

3: My life is my own.

This is particularly helpful for those who feel obligated to take on the responsibilities of others, and for those who feel guilty for having their own needs. Only by honoring your true desires without being restricted by the unrealistic expectations of others will you ever truly find happiness. Every being is entitled to follow his unique path — excessive self-sacrifice will only create a harmful imbalance in your life and the lives of others.

4: Let love be my guide.

There is nothing as holistic and cleansing as integrating love as a guiding energy into your life. Give into the divine will of the Universe by releasing all negative thinking; when your mind and heart have opened, you will see joy unfold before your eyes. As you recite this mantra, imagine a warm, pink light wrapping around your body like a blanket, drawing out all darkness from your auric field.

TANAAZ (Forever Conscious): “Your Inner Vs. Higher Purpose”

higher purpose

Are you struggling to answer – What is my purpose?

Your purpose is all around you, lives in you, breathes through you and dances alongside you. All you have to do is allow it to guide and show you the way.

I believe we have both a higher purpose and an inner purpose.

Inner Purpose

Your inner purpose is the stuff you live and breathe every day. It is your energy, it is your vision, your voice and your actions. It holds all the things that your energy has come here to achieve on a day to day level.

Your inner purpose is expressed through-

  • The family you were born into
  • The body you were born with
  • The circumstances that surround you
  • Your natural talents, passions and gifts
  • Your karma

Your inner purpose is very much in your hands, and it is up to you to direct the flow of its energy.

It can never truly be off track, because everything that you create in your life is part of your inner purpose. There is no wrong turn, no wrong move, everything that flows from you is meant to be part of your inner purpose.

Your inner purpose may be hard to feel or determine. It is something that only becomes real once you tune into it. Once you realise that your purpose is all around you and flows from within, you will start to feel it unfolding in your life.

Your inner purpose is essentially everything that you are, because you are perfect just as you are. You need not do anything to acquire your inner purpose because everything you are doing is already your inner purpose.

Through just living, breathing, walking and thinking you are fulfilling your inner purpose.

Higher Purpose

Your higher purpose is the mission that your soul was sent here to achieve. It is determined before you come into your physical body and is the ultimate goal of your soul.

Your higher purpose is written on your soul contract and is the over-arching force of your life. When you start tapping into your higher purpose, you join in the flow and rhythm of life.

Essentially we achieve our higher purpose through our inner purpose. In many ways, it is like the higher purpose feeds the inner purpose. When you can align the two, that is when the magic really happens.

What your higher purpose is cannot really be described in words. Words go beyond your higher purpose, however I believe that there are three main higher purposes.

(There maybe be more than just three core higher purposes, but these are the ones that have been revealed to me on my journey.)

The 3 Higher Purposes:

  1. To Heal
  2. To Deliver a Message
  3. To Bring Revolution

These higher purposes do not dictate the type of career or lifestyle that you will have (that is your inner purpose).

A criminal can be a healer, a musician can deliver a message and a bank manager can bring revolution. There are no rules with how your higher purpose can be delivered into the world.

Your higher purpose is what your soul has come here to achieve and your inner purpose dictates how that higher purpose is presented to the world.

Those who have come to heal are here to spread compassion, peace, health, nourishment and care for all living things, including the planet.

Those who have to deliver a message are here to unlock the wisdom of their heart in order to teach, guide or bring information into the world.

Those who have come to bring revolution are here to change things, uproot things and bring about a new idea or a new way of doing things.

All these higher purposes may be interrelated in some way, as we are all here to work together as humans on this planet. Ultimately, our souls are here to spread love and our higher purpose is how we achieve that.

Your higher purpose is often revealed to you when you start following your bliss and tune into who you really are. In fact, all it takes for you to realise your higher purpose is to be your true, authentic self.

“Don’t worry about trying to find your life purpose. Instead, start by acting on the small things that excite you each day. These are the threads that will connect you to your path, passion and purpose in life.”- Ruben Chavez

ANNA LEMIND: “6 Signs You Have Found Your Path In Life”

Signs You Have Found Your Path in Life

Finding one’s path in life is not an easy task. It takes years of trying, failing and searching.

It’s sad that most people never find the right path and end up spending their life surrounded by wrong people and doing things they don’t enjoy. In today’s society, it’s particularly easy to get confused as to what we want in life since we are constantly told by the mass media and mainstream culture what we should be like, what we should do and how we should look. Still, there are individuals who don’t conform to what the majority wants and listen to the voice of their own soul.

Are you one of those people? To help you find out, here are some signs that indicate you have found your path in life.

1. You make a living doing what you love

One of the most obvious signs that someone has found their path in life is working for a higher purpose than just making an income. Whatever it is – your own business, a creative career of an independent artist or a “normal” job – the point is that it brings you joy and gives you a feeling of fulfilment, as well as helps you with your personal development. You may be doing it to make the world a better place or help others, but the only thing is clear – your motives go far beyond just working for a salary to pay the bills. Your work is a vital part of your soul’s calling and is a means to serve your life purpose.

2. You strive for value-based goals and appreciate the things that matter

A true life purpose is never focused on material and ephemeral things. Thus, if you have found your path in life, your goals will probably be value-based. Everyone comes to this world to fulfil a different mission. For some, it may be devoting themselves to their family and raising kids. Someone may be a talented artist who wants to inspire and encourage people with their artwork. Whatever you are born for, it’s focused on the eternal human values. Modern society needs such individuals more than ever since today’s people are constantly losing the connection with their souls and forget about the things that matter for the sake of material gain and superficial aspirations.

3. You feel like everything is in its place and are content with your life

You feel like everything that has ever happened to you happened for a reason and helped bring you where you are today. Even your past disappointments and failures are now making sense. Failed relationships, behaviors you may now be ashamed of, jobs you hated – everything contributed to making you a person you are today. You deeply realize that and feel grateful that things happened the way they did because everything is in its place now.

Even if you are not content with every single aspect of your life, you have a general feeling of fulfilment and can say that you are a happy and evolved person.

4. You are in a healthy relationship or are happy alone

A person who has found their path in life knows exactly what he or she wants. That’s why you won’t spend your time being in an abusive or unhappy relationship. You prefer to be alone rather than with a wrong person. If you are in a relationship, then you are quite sure that you’ve found your soulmate and that you want to spend the rest of your life with your partner. You complement each other and your relationship is a deep connection based on similar values and life goals.

5. You have cut people out of your life

One day, you realized that some people you believed were your friends don’t really give a shit about you. Everyone has this kind of people in their life who seem to be very friendly and supportive till the moment you are in trouble and need their help. This is when you suddenly see that these alleged friends don’t deserve to be a part of your life.

You may also come to the same conclusion about some people simply because you don’t vibe with them. You no longer see the point in hanging out with them because it feels more like a social obligation than a sincere desire for communication. Now you want to surround yourself with likeminded individuals you resonate with and let into your life only those who have a genuine interest in you and share the same values with you.

6. You have realized that other people’s opinions mean nothing

Being social creatures, we often fall into a trap of following what others expect from us and thus tend to give importance to their opinions about us and our life. Though, when you find your path in life, you realize how insignificant they actually are and how silly it is to care about what other people think. Now you know that this is your life and you are the only one who is to decide what is better for you. Similarly, you no longer feel the need to impress people and try to prove you are better, smarter and more successful than they are.

Do you feel that you have found your path in life? If yes, do these signs ring true for you? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
